Hello again! Ive been traveling around with my kids the last few days. Trying to spend as much time with them as possible. My Son turned 8 on the 6th! I’m very proud of him. Fun to see them both begin to become real people. I got him a really cool bike. We also went to LegoLand and Sea World. had a great time with them. Love it when its just the three of us. Went to my sons little league game today. He made some great hits. He also has an incredible arm! Man, I’m very proud of him. Saw my daughter do some of her Ice skating thing yesterday. Had to leave a little early to go to a mtg. She looks great out there but still a little shaky. Shes only 5 but has quite the personality! I’m telling you! Makes me laugh my ass off! My son is hilarious as well, really developing into a great little human. Went on an Egg hunt over Easter. Many kids were there. Some of the eggs had little prizes in them. One of the Mothers came up to my son and told him what a great boy he is because her daughter was not getting any of the special eggs and he helped her find some. Once again, I’m a proud Father today! Could I ask for anything more in life? No!
Everything is good with work. I don’t think I was fired off the Igor movie, they have just written a new script and there is now more than one Igor, so I think I’m Igor number 2 now. I’m in the process of developing a TV show for myself that im getting excited about. its fun to do Independent Movies all the time and theater but as far as getting the masses to see them is sometimes difficult. The show is called “Dirty Little Secrets” and is being produced by Beacon, NBC and Touchstone. Its all about America and the things that get swept under the carpet. I’m playing a character named ‘John Manners’, a journalistic investigator who pushes the envelope. Its all in the process of being written and is coming together nicely and I’m getting more and more excited about the opportunity. “Love Lies Bleeding” was a fantastic experience! I really enjoyed the character. They are editing now so who knows when it will come out.
I’m going to NY for the Gen Arts festival. “He was a Qman” is screening there. I really enjoyed most of the movie when I saw it in Austin. The Director is still tweaking it, Right now its a home movie until he and the producer can sell it. “Slipstream”, Anthony is still tweaking that one as well and looking for buyers. He said in Sundance that he made it for himself and for fun so I’m not sure how interested he is in who else sees it. I really liked my character in it and the shots were beautiful. I wish him all the best! I’m glad Bobby is out on DVD and I will always be proud of the movie and everyones work. The places I got to go to and the people i got to meet were incredible! And Moscow was a fantastic experience. I told the producers early on that i would support the movie 100% and thats exactly what I did. I’m proud of myself. It was a lot of traveling and a lot of talking but I got to see more of the world than i ever have before! All worth it!
I’m reading a very cool script right now, I’m not gonna say the title yet until I close the deal, but this one is pretty wacked out, my favorite kind of movie to do I think. The TV show is possibly gonna start shooting in July sometime so now i’m just taking some time for myself. Planning another trip with my kids and planning a trip to NY to see some special friends. Going to Miami for a real break as well! the month of April is going well. Ive got a good team around me and a great friend to help get me through it! This is the best kind of update i could give ya, I think. Hope all of you are doing well!
